Bee Ditty

Amongst the flowers you'll see me

A little worker bee - tee-hee

Buzzing, buzzing merrily

Working hard but fancy-free

Drinking the nectar mmm! yummy

Until it fills my special tummy

Designed to help me make the honey

Golden in colour and often runny

We work for our Queen

Who is seldom seen

I tell her about where I have been

And describe the scene

The wonderful flowers

In all the bowers Blue Cornflowers

And sunflowers

The hive is our home

It has no dome

It is filled with honey-comb

But I love to roam
