The Crayon Box

In the morning when the sun came out

The crayon box would loudly shout

Time to rise and greet the day

Soon the kids will want to play

Green and yellow, pink and blue

Wonder what they’ll do with you

Black and orange, and apple red

It’s time to leave your comfy bed

Color mountains or skies so blue

Crayons have a job to do

Stand up tall, because here they come

Time to color…Oh what fun
