Kindler

Kindler was a Grasshopper and a sidekick of Extinctus and as his name implied, he was responsible for kindling the flames of the fires that were to destroy the books. Originally he tried to use his back legs to make the sparks to light the fire but that made them very sore and did not work ! So he decided to use the boy scouts method of rubbing two sticks together.  He made huge mountains of kindling wood in preparation for the bonfires to burn the books. He did not really have any reason to burn books other than that it pleased Extinctus and he just loved making bonfires. He was from a family of Grasshoppers that loved to go camping and used to light campfires around which they would all tell stories and sing songs.
